As you find out how great your heavenly Father is, it helps your heart feel good about giving Him permission to do more in and through your life. God is great; but, how does that greatness affect you and those around you? You don’t just need to know how great God is, you need to know what His greatness is going to do for you. Once you become excited and knowledgeable about the character and provisions of God, you can see where and how you can cooperate with Him.

You can start praising Him for Who He is and what He does. You can start yielding to Him, allowing Him to heal your heart and meet your needs. And, you can start allowing Him to flow through you to meet the needs of others.

Ask Jesus to help you learn everything you possibly can about your heavenly Father. Let the Holy Spirit take the things of God and show them to you. Let all your own preconceived notions go and allow the truth about God come into your heart and mind.
